Lindsey Harrison
Lindsey is the owner of Hideaway Hair Lounge and the stylist behind the chair who makes every appointment feel like catching up with an old friend. She believes great hair isn’t just about the final look—it’s about the experience, the confidence boost, and feeling like the best version of yourself when you walk out the door.
With a passion for cutting and coloring, Lindsey specializes in Blonding, lived-in color, balayage, baby lights, ombré, and vivid transformations. She’s just as excited about a major hair makeover as she is about a simple refresh and will always be honest about what your hair needs—because healthy, beautiful hair is the goal.
Her expertise extends beyond color to keratin smoothing treatments and a variety of extensions, helping clients achieve effortlessly gorgeous, low-maintenance styles.
After more than a decade of working as a stylist in Carson City, Lindsey took a leap and opened Hideaway Hair Lounge in December 2020—because, why not open a salon in the middle of a pandemic? More than just a space for clients, Lindsey envisioned a creative, supportive environment where independent stylists could work collectively while maintaining the freedom of their own businesses. At Hideaway, collaboration and teamwork are at the heart of the salon, proving that independent stylists don’t have to work alone.
Education has always been a priority for Lindsey, and she stays on top of the latest trends and techniques to give her clients the best results possible.
When she’s not behind the chair, Lindsey is busy chasing after her son, traveling, going to concerts, and spending time with family and friends.
Candace Crist
With nearly 15 years of experience behind the chair, Candace Crist is a highly skilled hair stylist specializing in all aspects of color. Her expertise includes balayage, foilyage, color melting, baby lights, and dimensional color, with a keen eye for creating customized, natural-looking results. Candace’s top priority is ensuring every guest leaves her chair feeling beautiful, confident, and empowered—all while maintaining the health and integrity of their hair. She believes in the power of education, taking the time to teach her clients how to care for their hair between appointments to keep it looking its best.
Beyond the salon, Candace is a devoted wife of over 20 years and a proud mother to preteen triplets. An avid sports enthusiast, she considers her children her all-time favorite athletes. She actively serves her community as a board member for local baseball, softball, and basketball programs and coaches girls’ fast-pitch softball. In her free time, she enjoys camping, outdoor adventures, and making lifelong memories with her family and closest friends. Candace is passionate about meeting new people and cherishes the connections she builds with each guest who walks through her salon doors.
Jen
Fontanez
Jen is a Carson City local who enjoys the capital’s history and charm. Jen and her husband Nick opened up Ciprianis Downtown Barbershop in 2018 and have loved being apart of the community.
Continuing education is one of her top priorities. She always is eager to learn new techniques and gain more knowledge to provide a better service for her guests.
Jen strives to build lasting relationships with everyone. She is attentive to all your hair needs and aspires for all clients to leave confident and happy.
In her free time Jen spends it with her husband and friends. You’ll find them exploring Nevada’s backroads, camping, and riding dirt bikes.
